Colombia in a day: salsa lesson in the morning, Colombian home cooking at midday, Konrad's DJ set in the afternoon. This is his most personal programme — the music, food and dancing are all from home.
Works best for small groups of 2–4 who want a genuinely unusual day in the Berner Oberland. No prior dancing or cooking experience needed.
Itinerary
Salsa lesson — 90 minutes
Basic timing, footwork, and partner work. Konrad teaches at a pace that works for complete beginners and gives intermediate dancers something to take home.
Open dance to live music
Konrad puts on proper salsa and stays on the floor to dance with the group. Usually the moment everything clicks.
Market run for ingredients
Short walk to the Thun covered market. Konrad chooses what to cook based on the day's menu — usually Bandeja Paisa or Ajiaco.
Cook together — Colombian kitchen
Konrad cooks and narrates. You prep, taste and learn. The kitchen smells like Medellín by the end of this step.
Eat together
Colombian lunch with Agua Panela and fruit. Music still on.
DJ set — Konrad behind the decks
Konrad sets up his DJ board. 90 minutes of cumbia, vallenato, salsa and Latin house. The day ends how it started — dancing.
