Forest school, farm visit and milking, kids baking afternoon
Anoli's best full day for families with children ages 5–12: a morning of Forest School activities in the Beatenberg woods, a visit to a working alpine farm at midday, and a baking afternoon to finish. Three genuinely different environments and types of activity.
The programme is designed to exhaust children in the best way — by the time the baking is done, they've built shelters, met animals, milked a goat (if the farmer agrees), and made something to eat. Long drives home are much easier after this day.
Forest School — Beatenberg
Shelter building, fire lighting and foraging. Anoli runs the morning section. Children lead the activities; Anoli follows at a safe distance.
Farm visit
Short walk to the neighbouring alpine farm. Cows, goats and chickens. Milking demonstration — hands-on if the farmer allows.
Farm lunch
Bread, farm butter, cheese and cold drinks provided by the farm. Eaten in the farmyard.
Baking session
Swiss Zopf bread, cookies or cake depending on the group's age. Anoli leads — children shape and decorate.
Eat what you baked
Fresh from the oven. Hot chocolate for the children. Herbal tea for adults.
End
Baked goods packed for the journey home.
A ridge village at 1,150 m — one of the most child-friendly environments in the Oberland. Farm, forest and mountain air in a single location.
